Wind ~15kts gusting 24. White sail only. We had a full main up but should have put a reef in. We didn’t because the sole reefing line was run to the 2nd reef rather than 1st. Had to retire after the leech line of the jib was ripped out and kept catching on the spreaders/mast during tacks.

Wind higher than forecast at around 16kts easterly, dropping to 10kts later. Mid-pack result for division 1.

Very sunny but very little wind. We were expecting a sea breeze to have developed but nada. The course was originally 3 laps but the fleet got becalmed shortly after turning onto the downwind leg so it was cut short at 1 lap.

Force 1 wind at most. Tried to sail but couldn’t keep main filled. Ended up just practicing manoeuvres.

Some clouds, mostly sunny. Wind died on the return.
