Beautiful sail from IOS to Paros. Westerly winds at 17kt. Full sail. We headed north towards Paros getting knocked towards Naxos slightly. Winds were to die down and change to more northerly during the day. We had about 3 hours on our northerly tack, then the winds shifted more northerly. Tara had the helm for a long stretch north. We tacked to a westerly heading, winds remained standing 12-14kts but this tack put us into the swell and was far less comfortable. We held this heading for over an hour bringing Paros and AntiParos on our west side. We tacked north and the wind held. We had planned to be in Paros Harbour main port by 3pm. With our coirs again getting knocked east we motor sailed and changed our destination to Aliki bay. We dropped anchor in 2.9m of clear sand bottom with 25m of chain and held firm in mild winds.
