Just a slow motor back to Lefkada and the bun fight for fuel. Found our slot at the marina then headed into town for our final meal for Karen’s (skipper) birthday.

Left Syvota after marina manoeuvres then a short trip to a cave for a swim then on to a small beach for lunch which belonged to Maria (skipper)! Took a bit of time to find a weed-free spot to anchor and get secure with the lines.

Left our lunch spot on Meganisi and headed to Syvota. The wind finally picked up to 16knots and we managed to sail at 6.5kts which was fun. Did quite a few tacks and even a heave-to 👍 Came in to a busy marina at Syvota - a great vibe.

Had a bit of wind so managed to do some tacking before heading to a beautiful turquoise inlet on Meganisi for lunch

Left the piggies and sailed to Kastos for lunch then on to George’s at Kalamos. Not much wind today so practiced knots. Walked to the beach for a swim & then back for dinner with the cats. This really is a beautiful spot.

Back to no wind after a wild night. An early start. Motored to Atokos but practiced knots & putting up the sails 😊 Swan ashore to say hi to the pigs then on to Kastos for lunch….

Not much wind as we left Kefalonia but once we were away from land it picked up. I practiced hove-to after mentioning the squall incident in The Grenadines. Stopped for lunch & a quick swim with the fish at Filiatro beach.

No wind so motored to Agia Efemia where we moored at the sea wall next to the other boat. Had a swim, chilled and out for dinner.

1st day for me after arriving last night & meeting everyone else sailing with Jane’s Plain Sailing. A Veerrryyy calm morning - only got above 5 knots of wind a few times. Karen is a great skipper - we all got to crew and we had the sails up every chance we could. Was fab to remember my sailing tuition off Chris in St Vincent but also made me realise how different it is sailing in the ocean 🌊 Lunch & swim in Agia Sofia on Kefalonia
