Depart 07.05. Astern going out to outer harbour. Recalibrate sumlog, but sea a little lumpy, so need to do again. wind as fcast, so tack out towards Lamlash. Messy sea, but consistent wind 8 - 16knts. Tack all way up the side of wee Cumbrae then wind died. furl away jib then lower main.

-Calibrated log.
-Hoisted sail & put pennants in.
-Nice wind, mid teens up to 17knts.
-Fornautic sailed beautifully saw -8knts.
-No vibration on Yanni, quite &  -smooth.
-Good jibe at top of Wee Cumbrae.
-I helped  for a while & enjoyed it.
-New Plotter & Radar very good.
- Good first sail of the season.

Run with BWR as genoa and main. Furled when wind increased to 11knts @60deg

Good sail back to Troon. Jib & Main all trip. Sea flat, apart from small swell for last hour. 1 Tack, to make sure we didn't get close to Vela after a close call at the start of trip. someone didn't understand the coll regs, and it wasn't us.
