sunny and 65°, wind 10 knots out of the southwest gusting to 30 knots. went out on a quarter jib and it did not handle well i tried to sail up wind without much luck when i got to the leeward side of the lake (north) i almost went ashore. i paddled myself for 15 minutes back towards the middle of the lake when the wind finally calmed enough i could hoist the main sail and find my way back to the dock.
